Jim, I am in your debt for the great work you have done in analyzing S:N ratios. Despite the potential to shoot at high ISO (higher than ISO 800), the “SNR improvement vs. ISO setting” persuades me that there is a penalty for shooting at high-ISO. Am I correct that this apparent sensor “reciprocity” (excuse that film era reference) explains why very high ISO shots seem to be so green?

Mel, I haven’t looked at an ISO-driven color balance shift. I haven’t noticed it, either, except in the case of the M230.
