I’ve spent most of this week editing synthetic slit scan images. Here are a few that I like.
Photography meets digital computer technology. Photography wins -- most of the time.
That first shot has some strange color banding. Is that an actual color change in the light?
Dunno. There’s only one white balance chosen in post for the entire image. Oh, I bet I know. The camera was in auto WB mode, so the WB is changing across the image. That’s probably a bad way to make these images. I’ll fix that in future captures.
#3 & #4 are quite amazing, the dynamic from the clouds is stunning. Congrats!
Ok, your slit scan pictures are amazing. What program do you use to merge the photos? I would love to try but I couldn’t find anything online
I wrote Matlab code to do the merging.
