Yesterday’s reception went well. The gallery looked great. We had more than 100 people stop by. The gallery is large enough and the people spaced their arrivals out well enough that they could actually look at the work. There was plenty of good food (thanks to Maria Castro’s catering service). I was able to properly thank Eric Bosler for his curation. Several Hartnell photography students came, and it was nice to talk with them and their instructor.
It’s really enjoyable connecting with your audience. Outside of the actual act of making the images, it’s one of the most satisfying things about photography.
