I re-read yesterday’s post and it seemed like a downer, so I’ll post some good news on the film front.
Kodak has come out with a new film called Ektar 100, which they claim has the sharpness and grain structure of the old Ektar 25, with two stops higher speed, and more latitude (it would be hard to have less). It’s currently available only in 35mm.
Remember Agfapan 25? There was a magical B&W film, especially when developed in dilute Rodinol. FotoImpex has introduced a film called Adox Pan 25 Pro, which they say is much like the old Agfa film. It’s available in 35mm, 4×5, and 8×10, but not, sadly, in 120 or 220.
