I got tired of the straight edges in the images using the image-stacking code that I’m been writing. Here is the result of the application of some trigonometry to the workflow.

Very nice. I really like the effect of the trig transformations. It makes the images look less like a set of simply stacked images. I particularly like image #5, the second to last one. It feels less chaotic than the others. My eye is more easily drawn into the image to observe particular elements of its structure.
Wow. These are fantastic! Such a great and tangible combination of science + art.
