I’m not done with PhotoLucida, but my time is getting swallowed up by things unrelated to my personal photography (but related to photography; maybe more on that later). There’s one thing I was going to save until the end, but, since the end is receding into the mists of future time, I thought I say it now.
At the session where all the photographers spread out their work for the pleasure of their peers, the reviewers, and the city of Portland, Brooks Jensen stopped by my table. He was extremely complimentary about the part of this blog that reported on my struggles leading up to PhotoLucida. I absorbed it all like a diva basking in applause.
Regular readers will note the absence of much in the way of commentary in this blog. I get email, people occasionally say nice things, but sometimes it feels like I’m just talking to myself.
Thank you, Brooks. I sure appreciate what you said.
