The big roll of Exhibition Fiber arrived. I loaded it into the 9800, and spent half an hour lifting and lowering handles until all the Matte Black ink was washed away and the printer was fully charged with Photo Black. Then I printed the big picture for the show.
It looks great. Looking at it next to the same image printed on matte paper made me realize just how bad the matte print was. I’m really glad I went to the trouble of making the big print on glossy paper.
Next stop is the frame shop, where the matting will be done.
